Specialized Wound Care

Living with a wound that won't heal can be frustrating and can make everyday activities more difficult.

At Lymph At Home, we bring personalized wound care therapy directly to you, providing one-on-one care in the comfort of your home.

We treat a variety of chronic and difficult-to-heal wounds, including diabetic foot ulcers, venous leg ulcers, pressure injuries, surgical wounds, skin tears, and wounds associated with lymphedema or chronic swelling.

Our goal is more than treating the wound, we want to help you heal, feel better, move better, and live better.

A Personalized Approach to Healing

Every wound is different, which is why we take the time to understand you and the factors affecting your healing.

Your treatment may include the following:

▫️ Wound assessment and monitoring,

▫️ Edema and lymphedema management,

▫️ Compression therapy,

▫️ Skin care,

▫️ Patient and caregiver education,

and other therapeutic interventions based on your individual needs.

When appropriate, we can also incorporate advanced wound care technology such as UltraMIST® Therapy into your treatment plan.

Because we come to your home, we can also see the challenges you face in your everyday environment and help develop practical strategies that fit your lifestyle.

What to Expect During Your First Visit

Your first visit is about getting to know you and your wound.

Your therapist will:

✔️ Review your medical history and any factors that may affect healing

✔️ Examine your wound and the surrounding skin

✔️ Assess swelling, skin integrity, mobility, and other contributing factors

✔️ Discuss your current wound-care routine and any concerns you may have

✔️ Establish personalized goals for your care

✔️ Develop a treatment plan based on your individual needs

✔️ Provide education and recommendations for caring for your wound between visits

We want you to feel comfortable asking questions. Your first visit is a conversation as much as it is an evaluation.

Home Care Tips

Your care doesn't stop when your therapist leaves. The small things you do between visits can make an important difference.

📍 Keep your wound and dressing clean and protected. Follow the wound-care and dressing instructions provided by your healthcare team.

📍 Protect your skin. Keep surrounding skin clean and moisturized as recommended, and check regularly for redness, irritation, swelling, or other changes.

📍 Follow your compression plan. If compression has been recommended, use your garments or wraps as instructed by your therapist or physician.

📍 Move regularly. Within the limits of your medical condition and care plan, gentle movement can help support circulation and manage swelling.

📍 Don't ignore changes. Pay attention to changes in drainage, odor, pain, swelling, skin color, or the appearance of your wound.

📍 Keep your healthcare appointments. Wound healing often involves more than one healthcare provider. Staying connected with your therapist and physician helps keep your care coordinated.
